Hi my name is paige and I am eight years old. I love to do art and maths. I was born in newzealand. I used to live with my mum and dad but now I live with my mum I have a step dad and he is really cool. My mum is really cool she spends heeps of time with me and makes me laugh when I am sad. I have a sister who is ten years old and a step sister who is two years old. We have two cats,two dogs,and a guinea pig.we use to have another dog , a cat, a toad , three kittens and our cat tiger. my mum loves pets. my dad is really cool and so is my mum. I love my family so much all my family are so cool. I love to play netball with my sister my sister is in a netball team at school her team is called the gold stars her first game is this saturday I think she will do well she is a very good goal shoot and a very good goal defence. I do a good bounce pass. We were at my friends house lucy and I were on a team and tannah an rebecca were on a team. We won, the score was 11 to 19 my sister was pretty annoyed that we won and they did not, we were happy because me and lucy are 2 years younger than Rebecca and Tannah

once I went on an old fashioned rowing boat suddenly as if by magic we ended up in the middle of no where. Then I saw a little island then I remembered something the day before I was reading a book about the pirate islands thats it thats where we were we were on the pirate islands. As soon as we got to land everyone wanted to rest. Another thing I remembered about in book was that there is supposed to be a treasure hidden somewhere on the pirate islands. There are also mean old pirates after the treasure. The treasure is a treasure chest filled with jewels. The red ruby will grant you any wish. I knew what everyone wanted to wish for everyone wanted to go home. I found old fishing rods hammocks and spades. I got the spades and told everyone to start digging. We were going to look for the buried treasure. Those mean old pirates just wanted the jewels. That night I dreamed what it would be like if those mean old pirates stole the treasure and we would be stranded on the island forever.We needed to find that ruby and fast. As quiet as a mouse I got out of bed and decided to search for the treasure I started to walk and just then I bumped into my sister. Why was she out of bed? Maybe she was looking for the treasure to. I heard the bell ring briinnngggg I ran into class I wanted to get my jobs done early for I knew today was going to be a very exciting day we rushed out to find that the bus was already waiting for us we rushed inside. Today was going to be a very exciting day we rushed inside once the doors to the art gallery were open it was so amazing the art was on canvas
I love spending time with my mum in the weekends because we get to stay up late and watch movies and eat popcorn.Hi my name is Tannah I am paige's sister when I am older i want to be a vet and when i am older i want to be a fashion designer or a publisher. My sister is very good at sport. My teachers name is mrs chapman.My mum is a child suport officer and my dad is an asphalter. My best friends name is Phebe she lives on the street right next to mine Phebe is the same age as me she is eight years old. We do alot of art in our class at school.My aunty looks after sifs babies and I get to help feed them and put them to bed.I collect a series of books called geronimo stiltons I have got seventeen. My sister is more into sport and phisics and my dad is to. My mum is the same as me she loves reading and typing on the computer.Kennedy in my class is my second best friend she is very nice. And in class we made a touchstone and went to a marae we sung a waiata called takitimu and got our touchstones blessed we also had morning tea at the marae it was so fun we even learnt some maori language. Some of our teachers gave speechesand some people from the marae gave speeches to. When the chideren were having morning tea the adults were aloud a cup of tea. The carvings on the outside of the marae were amazing and there was a little man on the roof it was a carving of a tribe leader or a ancester. The carvings and patterns inside the marae were amazing we sung a wiata called takitimu and a wiata called tu tira migna iwi and we also did a karakea witch is a prayer once we were done we went onto the pavement and did our peformance again Tommy wilson was at the marae wit us to he is the bublisher of the kapai the kiwi books. we made touchstones for the marae we got them blessed and then we had morning tea at the marae when we started eating stellas dad came over to us and told phebe and stella he had been filming both of them I laughed because phebe hates being on tapeand so does stella. Then stellas dad told me that he was filming me to my jaw hit the ground I hate being on tape to it is so embarsing
